About Me
At 17, I left home with no plan, no connections, and no safety net. I just wanted to travel, meet people, see different cultures and experience life. Cinema turned out to be the vehicle that made all of that possible.
I walked into Nirvana Films in 2000 as a runner doing office work, managing accounts, watching how a production company breathed. By 2003 I was in Chennai learning light from the ground up alongside cinematographer Loganathan S. In 2005 I tried Mumbai for the first time. The city pushed back hard. I went to Bangalore, shot corporate films for IT companies, saved money, and came back again.
I started as a light boy on Bhoothnath and worked my way to assisting Vishnu Rao on Aashiqui 2, Prince, and many other projects.
Since going independent in 2014, it's been a full life behind the camera.
I have had the opportunity to work on Commercials for Toyota, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Mustang, Google, IKEA, LG, Dell, Asian Paints, Uber and more brands than I can count. I’ve been lucky to work on national award winning documentaries, hard hitting short films and several feature films.
It’s been a fun ride - doing diverse work and working with incredibly talented people -who keep you inspired!
